Inatasan ng hepe Philippine National Police (PNP) na si Gen. Dionardo Carlos ang pulisya nitong Sabado, Dis. 4 na imbestigahan ang pambobomba sa isang transmission tower ng National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP) sa bayan ng Maguing sa Lanao del Sur.
“The investigation will establish what really transpired. We are also coordinating with NGCP and other possible witnesses of the bombing incident,” sabi ni Carlos.
Aniya, mariing kinukundena ng PNP ang terroristic aact na nagdulot ng higit na pangamba sa mga tao sa mga apektadong komunidad.
“The PNP understands that this incident will further burden the public as service interruption of power supply is inevitable. The PNP will exert all effort to identify and arrest those responsible,” sabi ni Carlos.

Batay sa inilabas na pahayag ng NGCP, binomba ang Tower #65 ng Agus 2-Kibawe 138Kv line sa Maguing, Lanao del Sur nitong Huwebes, Dis. 2.
“Repair of tower 65 will commence as soon as the area is secured. This transmission line segment has been unenergized since September 2021 due to sabotage of its insulators by still unknown individuals,” pagbabanggit sa pahayag.
“The company stresses that the bombings only serve to increase the burden of the public, which must suffer through service interruptions when towers are bombed,’ dagdag nito.
Umapela din ang NGCP sa lokal at pambansang pamahalaan, mga lokal na pinuno ng komunidad at sa publiko, na tumulong na tukuyin ang mga may kagagawan ng pambobomba, at makipag-ayos sa mga ayaw makisangkot na mga landowners, upang maiwasan ang mas matagal na power interruptions.
