Ito ay nang kunin ng pamunuan ng Soaring Falcons ang serbisyo ni Racela sa pag-asang maigiya nito ang koponan patungo sa finals.

Sa kabila nito, tiniyak ni Racela namaihahatid ang koponan sa Final Four sa darating na season.

“I have alwayssayI know all schools have the same goals, but in terms of expectations, all I can say is that we will give our best and we will compete for sure every single game, every single season,” wika ni Racela.

“Hopefully, by developing the right people, we would also achieve what every school dreams.I don’t really want to mention, but again, I am not a believer in claiming wins and championships, yet, that is really the ultimate goal. Everything will fall into place as long as we do our part,” dagdag nito.

Sa panig naman ng pamunuan ng Soaring Falcons, kinonsideranila ang magandang track record ni Racela sa collegiate at professional ranks habang ang mala-ama at malumanay nitong coaching style ay sakto sa direksyonna nais nilang patunguhan ng kanilang basketball program.

Pinalitan ni Racela si dating Falcons coach Franz Pumaren habang magsisilbi namang mga assistant coaches niya sina Rommel Adducul, Ryan Betia, Ed de la Torre, Gilbert Lao, Benjamin Sipin at Baby Falcons mentor Mike Fermin.
