Aprubado na ni University of the Philippines (UP) Diliman Chancellor Fidel R. Nemenzo ang mga palatuntunan para sa pagbubukas ng limited face-to-face classes sa unibersidad.

"After more than a year of implementing remote learning, the University of the Philippines Diliman (UPD) has been preparing for the gradual reopening of the campus for limited face-to-face (F2F) classes," pahayag ng unibersidad.

Ayon pa rito, mula Oktubre 2020, nakikipagtulungan na ang UPD sa Commission on Higher Education (CHED), Department of Health (DOH), lokal na pamahalaan ng Quezon City, UPD COVID-19 Task Force, at mga concerned deans, mga magulang, at 338 graduating students mula sa anim na kolehiyo para sa limitadong face-to-face classes.

Upang masiguro naman ang maayos na maglipat mula remote learning patungong face-to-face, naghain ng tatlong palatuntunan ang unibersidad.

Narito ang inilatag na palatuntunan para sa pagbubukas ng klase ayon sa inilabas na pahayag:

1. Not all the academic programs in these colleges applied for limited F2F classes;

2. The guidelines cover only those students who have "graduating status" as of the second semester and midyear, AY 2020-2021; and

3. Participation of students in the requested limited F2F classes is not compulsory. Among the 338, only those who signified readiness to participate will be allowed to attend F2F classes.

Dagdag pa sa pahayag, sa ilang paparating na buwan, bubuksan ulit ng Office of the Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs (OVCAA) ang konsultasyon sa lagpas 2,000 na estudyante na mag-aapply para sa face-to-face classes.
