‘’His doctor has recommended that he rest for one week in order to aid in his treatment and recovery. As COVID-19 has not been ruled out, Mr. Yang is in isolation and the undersigned counsel has been directed to stay away from him for the duration,’’ sabi ni Fortun

‘’A copy of the notarized medical certificate issued to Mr. Yang is hereto attached as Annex A. The undersigned shall submit the original of said document to the Blue Ribbon committee shortly,’’ dagdag niya.

‘’As an officer of the Court, I undertake to ensure Mr. Yang’s attendance at the next hearing as long as his health improves to allow him to do so. Please also be assured of Mr. Yang’s continuous respect in the Senate and the Blue Ribbon committee, his willingness to attend the latter’s hearings in aid of legislation and his cooperation in all matters that are within the bounds of the law,’’ sabi ng abogado.
