Arestado sa Taguig City ang tinaguriang most wanted person sa Capiz nitong Huwebes, Nobyembre 25.

Binanggit ni Southern Police District (SPD) Director Brig. Gen. Jimli Macaraeg ang pagka-aresto ni Rodney Felomino, 27, residente ng Phase 2, Bgy. Pinagsama, Taguig.

Si Felomino ang top 20 most wanted person ng Capiz provincial police para sa fourth quarter ng 2021.

Inaresto ang suspek dakong 1:00 ng tanghali sa isang gasolinahan sa East Service Road, C5 sa Bgy. Ususan, Taguig.

Isinagawa ang joint manhunt operation ng Technical Support Division at Warrant and Subpoena Unit ng Taguig Police, Provincial Intelligence Unit, Jamindan Municipal Police Station at Provincial Highway Patrol Team.

Dinakip si Felomin sa bisa ng warrant of arrest for rape a walang inirerekomendang piyansa kaugnay sa Republic Act 7610 (Special Protection of Children Against Abuse, Exploitation and Discrimination Act) na inisyu ni Judge Judith Orendain-Tonogbanua ng Regional Trial Court Branch 20 sa Mambusao, Capiz base sa criminal case na inihain noong Hulyo 18, 2017.

Kasalukuyang nakakulong sa custodial facility ng Taguig police habang hinihintay ang paglabas ng commitment order mula sa court of origin.

“I commend the joint operating teams of Taguig and Capiz PPO (Police Provincial Office) for their extensive and thorough search that resulted in the arrest of this wanted person. The manhunt operation is continuously undertaken under my leadership to put wanted persons behind bars and face the law for the crimes they committed,” ani Macaraeg.
