Bukas na ang Office of the Vice President (OVP) upang magbigay ng special medical assistance para sa qualified referred patients na nangangailangan ng 'Molnupiravir,' oral pill kontra mild hanggang moderate kaso ng COVID-19.
Lumagda noong Lunes, Nobyembre 22, si Bise Presidente Leni Robredo kasama ang QualiMed Health Network, upang simulan ang pagbubukas ng tulong sa ilalim ng programang Bayanihan E-Konsulta.
"In the agreement, the OVP will issue a guarantee letter under our special medical assistance program to any qualified patient referred by our volunteer doctors at Bayanihan E-Konsulta. QualiMed facilities will then further assess and prescribe the medicine to the patient," pahayag ni Robredo.
Dumating sa bansa ang unang batch ng Molnupiravir noong Nobyembre 17, at kauna-unahan ang Pilipinas sa mga bansa sa Southeast Asia na nakatanggap nito.

Nagpasalamat naman si Robredo sa pagtitiwala sa kanilang opisina ng mga partner nito sa bagong proyekto.
