Nagpa-'cocaine test' umano si presidential aspirant Bongbong Marcos o BBM nitong Lunes, Nobyembre 22, batay sa kaniyang pahayag, ilang araw matapos ang parinig ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte na may isang kumakandidatong pangulo na gumagamit ng cocaine.
"I really don’t feel that I am the one being alluded to. In spite of that, I believe it is my inherent duty as an aspiring public official to assure my fellow Filipinos that I am against illegal drugs," saad ni BBM sa kaniyang opisyal na pahayag, hinggil sa blind item ng pangulo.
"This is why I took a cocaine test yesterday and the result was submitted this morning to the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA), the office of the Chief of the PNP (Philippine National Police) and the National Bureau of Investigation. Let me reiterate my assurance to my fellowmen, especially to the supporters of BBM-Sara Uniteam, that I am, and will remain, a vigilant anti-illegal drugs campaigner!"

Samanta, hinamon naman niya ang mga kapwa kandidato na magpa-drug test din upang mapatunayan na ang mga naghahangad na maluklok sa pamahalaan ay hindi gumagamit ng ipinagbabawal na gamot at pamarisan ng kabataan.
Isinumite naman ng chief-of-staff ni BBM na si Atty. Vic Rodriguez ang negative drug test result sa National Bureau of Investigation (NBI).
