Nakatanggap ng isang fake booking ang Office of the Vice President mula sa isang customer na nagpanggap bilang si Vice President Leni Robredo, ayon kay OVP Spokesperson lawyer Barry Gutierrez, nitong Lunes, Nobyembre 22.
Sa Tweet ni Gutierrez, ipinakita niya ang larawan ng isang transaction details na nakapangalan kay VP Robredo at maging ang address ng Office of the Vice President sa New Manila. Makikita sa larawan na may babayaran na P16,040 via cash-on-delivery.

Sinabi ni Gutierrez na iba't ibang items mula sa Metromart ang dineliver sa OVP at umabot ito sa P100,000 via cash-on-delivery.
"May nagpanggap na si VP Leni at nag multiple orders ng abot P100K+ sa Metromart. Pinadeliver sa OVP na COD. Hindi na inisip ang mga delivery rider na hinassle at inaksaya ang oras. Ganito na ba talaga sila katakot sa atin? Dedma sa ganitong kacheapan. Laban lang!" ayon sa OVP Spokesperson na may kalakip itong #LabanLeni2022Nakatanggap ang OVP ng grocery items, alcholic beverages, at mga laruan sa loob lamang ng isang araw.
Hindi na nagugulat ang Robredo camp sa mga bogus customer na gumagawa ng mga fake purchases na ginagamit ang pangalan ng Bise Presidente.
Sa isang mensaheng ipinadala sa mga reporters, sinabi ni Gutierrez na nakipag-ugnayan na sila sa Metromart upang macancel at maibalik ang mga items.
“We specifically insisted that nothing be charged to the delivery riders. We are super thankful to them for their assistance and cooperation. VP Leni gave the riders something to compensate them for the two hours they lost because of this scam,” aniya.
“We were able to get the number used to book the deliveries, and are investigating further. There has been some initial consultation with our lawyers, but specific options will be discussed once we get more information on who may be responsible,” dagdag pa niya.
