Nilagdaan ni Manila Mayor Francisco "Isko Moreno" Domagoso nitong Lunes, Nobyembre 8, ang executive order sa pagtanggal ng face shield use policy sa lungsod.
Sa Executive Order No. 42, iniutos ni Domagoso na hindi na required ang pagsusuot ng face shield sa Maynila maliban sa hospital setting, medical clinics, at iba pang medical facilities.
Ayon din sa executive order: “Alert Level 2 refers to area wherein case transmission is low and decreasing, healthcare utilization is low, or case counts are low but increasing but total bed utilization rate and intensive are unit utilization rate is increasing.”
Nasa Alert Level 2 ang Metro Manila simula Nob. 5 hanggang Nob. 21.

Ang non-mandatory na paggamit ng face shield sa Maynila ay epektibo simula ngayong araw, Nobyembre 8.
Nauna nang sinabi ng Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) na isusulong nila ang pagtanggal ng face shield sa health protocol sa gitna ng bumubuting sitwasyon sa bansa.
