“Kung may indikasyon ng foul play,” aatasan ang National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) para imbestigahan ang sunog na sumiklab sa provincial health office ng Zamboanga del Sur kung saan 148, 678 doses ng COVID-19 vaccines ang napinsala, sabi ni Justice Secretary Menardo I. Guevarra nitong Martes, Nobyembre 2.
Sa ngayon, hinahayaan muna ni Guevarra ang Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) na pangunahan ang imbestigasyon sa insidente.
“We’ll wait for the initial assessment of the Bureau of Fire Protection,” sabi nito.
Kung kakailanganin, tiniyak ni Guevarra na hihilingin niyang mangialam ang NBI regional office.

Sumiklab ang sunog sa isang tatlong-palapag na gusali ng provincial health office nitong Linggo ng gabi.
Sa isang joint statement ng National Task Force (NTF) Against COVID-19 and the Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) on the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases, sinabing nasa 148,678 doses ng bakuna laban sa COVID-19 ang napinsala.
“The National Task Force (NTF) Against COVID-19 together with the Department of Health (DOH), the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG), and the National Vaccination Operations Center (NVOC) are closely monitoring developments in the incident’s investigation,” bahagi ng pahayag.
Sinira rin ng sunog ang routine immunization vaccines na nakalaan sa buong probinsya.
