Nagtalaga na si Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte ng bagong acting secretary ng Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR).

Ito ang inanunsyo ng Malacañang nitong Sabado at sinabing si Bernie Cruz ang pansamantalang inihalili kay DAR Secretary John Castriciones na bumaba na sa puwesto upang kumandidato sa pagka-senador sa 2022 national elections.

Pinirmahan ni Duterte ang appointment paper ni Cruz nitong Oktubre 28.

“The Palace confirms that President Rodrigo Roa Duterte signed last October 28, 2021 the appointment of Mr. Bernie Ferrer Cruz as Acting Secretary of the Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR),” paliwanag naman ni Presidential Spokesman Harry Roque.

Si Cruz ay dating Undersecretary for Foreign Assisted Projects ng DAR.
