Maaaring isailalim ang National Capital Region (NCR) sa Alert Level 2 sa susunod na mga linggo kung magpapatuloy ang pagbaba ng COVID-19 infections, ayon sa Department of Health (DOH) nitong Huwebes, Oktubre 21.
“Before the increase in cases last March and April, we were just averaging in NCR less than 500 a day. So I think that will be a comfortable number,” ayon sa panayam ni Health Undersecretary and spokesperson Maria Rosario Vergeire sa CNN Philippines.“If this number continues to decline, it is very possible that we can be de-escalated in the coming weeks,” dagdag pa niya.
“Hopefully magtuloy-tuloy and this is really the start of decline in the number of cases.”
