Ipinahayag naman ni Sam ang kaniyang appreciation IG post sa kaniyang mister, na katuwang niya sa pag-aalaga sa kanilang anak na si Baby Mia Aya.
"Appreciation post. To the man, my man, baby’s daddy, hubby, partner, teammate, lover and friend @anthonysemerad," ayon sa caption.
"Thank you for taking care of me and @miaayasemerad, for the nice hot home cooked meals, for working hard for the fam bam, for the farmhouse, helping with Mia when and however you can, for tolerating my madness and everything else in between. We got this baby! Everything for Mia girl now."
Ibinahagi rin ni Sam ang kaniyang birth story.
"Time to share my birth story!"
"I was 40 weeks and 3 days pregnant when we decided to check in the hospital. First thing needed to be able to be admitted is a negative RT-PCR test that’s valid for 7 days. Did a home service with @medesteticaph 3 days before I gave birth. We wanted to go for a normal delivery as much as possible — which I did. But there were some issues that can make me have an c-section like I was pre eclampsia — for some reason I developed hypertension during my pregnancy even if I think that’s the healthiest I’ve ever been."
"Maybe cause my mom also was pre eclampsia. Secondly, Mia was small. When I was 36 weeks pregnant, her size was 32 weeks. Had to drink this special vitamins and in 2 weeks, her size was perfect. Lastly, my placenta was low for the longest time. It’s suppose to go up early on the pregnancy. But mine took its time. Finally on my 36th week, it went up. Oh if it doesn’t go up, I would have to do a c-section cause it’s blocking the birth canal."
"Okay. Back to giving birth. Anthony helped me check in and then went home. I didn’t really want him to stay in the hospital and wait in the fathers area so he won’t be too exposed. I was nervous and felt like floating and the anticipation was just overwhelming. Since it’s my first baby, I didn’t know what to expect. But I was already feeling some weird throbbing and didn’t know that was already contractions and was in the first stage of labor. I was alone the whole time — honestly I didn’t mind.. at least no pressure. Had my phone with with me to keep me entertained. Plus I was on epidural so I kept dozing off."
"Finally after 16 hours, Mia was ready to come out. And Anthony was able to enter the delivery room (Oh he also needed a RT-PCR test that’s valid for 3 days to be able to be with my in the delivery room and stay with me after giving birth). After 3 pushes, she was out! Anthony cut her umbilical cord. Stayed in the hospital for technically 3 days. 1 day for labor and 2 days recovery room."
"Everything about giving birth is so intense. But my body is made for this. Thank you to all doctors and nurses and salute to all the mommas."
