Nanawagan na ang Malacañang nitong Oktubre 11 sa United States government na imbestigahan ang pagpaslang sa isang Pinay nurse sa New York City, kamakailan.

"All victims of violations of the right to life are entitled to a speedy domestic remedy," paliwanag ni Presidential Spokesman Harry Roque sa isang pulong balitaan, nitong Lunes.

"We appeal of course to the US administration to investigate and prosecute the killer of this Filipino nurse. We call upon the US government to do what is incumbent upon any state where there is a killing," pagdidiinng opisyal.

Sa pahayag naman ngPhilippine Consulate General sa New York, kinilala nito ang biktima naMaria Ambrocio, 58, isang nurse Bayonne, New Jersey, umano'y pinalo ng isang palaboy nitong nakaraang Biyernes.

Naiulat na kagagaling lamang ng biktima sa Philippine consulate, kasama ang kaibigan at naglalakad malapit sa Time Square nang maganap ang insidente.

"Maria was walking with a kababayan near Times Square after visiting the Philippine Consulate General when she was struck by the suspect who was reportedly being chased after grabbing a mobile phone from someone," ayon naman sa FB post ng Philippine Consulate General.
