Iniinda ngayon ng mga magsasaka mula sa Brgy. Ap-apid, Tinoc, Ifugao ang pagbagsak ng presyo ng pananim nilang kamatis.

Sa Facebook post ng Rural Rising Philippines, ipinakita nito ang screenshot ng usapan nila ng asawa ni Jomar Bagnade, mula sa nasabing barangay, na halos itinatapon na lamang ang mga kamatis dahil sa over supply ito at mababa ang presyo.

"Ang ganda-ganda pa ng kamatis! Sayang na sayang na sayang! And it is not just Jomar, this is just one poor hapless farmer, it’s everyone in the village that grows tomatoes, or any village between Tinoc and Banaue. It’s a swath of depair, it’s a sense of sadness that threatens to overwhelm me as I write this," pahayag ng Rural Rising Philippines sa kanilang post.

Hinihikayat naman ng Rural Rising Philippines na suportahan ang mga magsasakang naghihirap sa bagsak presyong problema sa produkto nilang kamatis. Sa presyong P510 lamang ang kapalit ng 20-kilo ng mga kamatis.

Siniguro naman nila na maganda ang kalidad ng mga kamatis na makukuha ng mga bibili ng kanilang produkto.

"We promise that the tomatoes will be very high quality. We promise that the farmers will receive double farm gate price for their tomatoes. We promise that all riders will get a bag of tomatoes. We promise that residents of Brgy. Tatalon and Brgy. Payatas will get tomatoes," ani Rural Rising Philippines.
