Nanawagan si Senator Leila de Lima sa Anti-Money Laundering Council (AMLC) na i-freeze kaagad ang assets ng mga opisyal ng Pharmally Pharmaceutical Corporation kasunod na rin ng imbestigasyon ng Senado sa ₱11.5 bilyong halaga ng kuwestiyunableng kontrata ng kumpanya sa gobyerno.

“Like everyone else, I was shocked by the parade of Lamborghinis, Porsches, and Lexuses owned by the directors of Pharmally who apparently went wild on a luxury car buying-spree after receiving their P8.7-billion windfall from selling overpriced PPEs (personal protective equipment), masks, and face shields to the government,” ayon sa senador.

“Kulang na lang 'yung Maserati ni ex-DBM Usec. Lloyd Christopher Lao kumpleto na sana," pahayag ni De Lima na ang tinutukoy ay ang dating hepe ng Department of Budget and Management-Procurement Services (DBM-PS).

Aniya, dapat nang kumilos ang AMLC upang mai-freeze na ang assets ng mga ito bago pa sila lumabas ng bansa tangay ang mga ninakaw.

“The AMLC should immediately apply for a freeze order and initiate civil forfeiture proceedings against these shameless profiteers,” dagdag pa ni De Lima.
