Inaalok ng Philippine National Police (PNP) ang kanilang kampo at iba pang malalaking pasilidad para sa pagbabakuna ng mga bata na may edad 12 hanggang 17. 

Sinimulan na rin ng national government ang preparasyon para mapalawak ang inoculation para mapabilis ang normalisasyon sa gitna ng COVID-19 pandemic.

Sinabi ni PNP chief Gen. Guillermo Eleazar, ang hakbang na ito ay isang paraan para mabawasan ang dami ng tao sa mga vaccination sites sa oras na magsimula na ang local government units (LGUs) sa pagbabakuna sa mga menor de edad kung sakaling may go signal na mula sa National Task Force Against COVID-19 at Department of Health.

Dagdag pa ni Eleazar, ang police camps at iba pang PNP facilities ay maaaring gamitin sa mga dependents ng mga PNP personnel.

“Now that the vaccination for all PNP personnel is nearing completion, I have already tasked our Administrative Support for COVID-19 Task Force (ASCOTF) to prepare for the vaccination of the minors by starting to list the 12-17 years old dependents of our personnel,” ani Eleazar.

“This will be in preparation for the expansion of the government’s vaccination program for minors in order to have as many Filipinos protected from the COVID-19. We will coordinate with the NTF Against COVID-19 and the DOH on this,” dagdag pa niya.

Base sa datos ng PNP-ASCOTF, mahigit 131,000 na PNP personnel na ang fully vaccinated habang mahigit 80,000 naman ang nakatanggap na ng kanilang first dose.
