Inanunsyo ng San Juan City local government nitong Miyerkules ang pakumpleto ng pamamahagi ng Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ)  ayuda sa mga residente nito.

Kasabay ng San Juan ang iba pang mga lungsod sa Metro Manila ang pamamahagi ng ayuda mula sa pamahalaang nasyonal noong Agosto 11 matapos isailalim sa ECQ ang National Capital Region (NCR).

“As of August 31, 2021, San Juan City has completed the disbursement of ECQ Ayuda worth P101,794,000. This was led by the City Social Welfare and Development Office and the City Treasury Office,” Ani San Juan City Mayor Francis Zamora.

“I would like to thank our hardworking staff who braved the Delta variant surge of COVID-19 to disburse the much needed financial assistance of the national government to our residents. They are also heroes in this fight against the pandemic,” dagdag pa niya.

Bukod sa pagkumpleto ng pamamahagi ng ayuda, namahagi rin ang LGU ng 45,000 food packs sa mga residente nito ngayong Huwebes bilang parte ng pagtulong sa San Juaneños sa gitna ng Modified Enhanced Community Quarantine (MECQ) sa Metro Manila dahil sa pagtaas ng COVID-19 cases.
