KINILALA ng Philippine Red Cross (PRC) ang kontribusyon ng Honda Foundation, Inc. (HFI) sa laban sa COVID-19 nang ipagkaloob ang ‘Outstanding Humanitarian Award for Corporate Social Responsibilities (CSR) 1 .

Bahagi ng programa ng HFI ang pagtulong sa mga mamamayan na nasalanta ng iba’t ibang kalamidad, higit ang pandemic ng coronavirus na nagdulot ng lockdown sa bansa sa kabuuan ng 2020.

Kabuuang 104 motorcycle units--52 red units each of TMX125 alpha at Wave 110 alpha—ang ibinigay ng Honda para magamit ng  PRC volunteers at staff sa kabuuang 104 Chapters sa bansa.

“We, at Honda, are one with the Philippine Red Cross in providing a helping hand to those in need. With our innovative mindset, we recognize the power of our motorcycles in helping this organization in all its much-needed humanitarian efforts,” pahayag ni Mr.Susumu Mitsuishi, HFI Member of the Board of Trustees.  

Ang HFI ay bahagi ng Honda group of companies na nagsasagawa ng corporate social responsibility programs at iba pang aktibidad tulad ng promosyon sa road safety, protecting the environment, supporting the youth, at addressing local community needs.
