Siyam sa 13 pelikula mula sa Premium Selection Section ng 4th Pista ng Pelikulang Pilipino(PPP) ay nakasama sa selection of nominees`para sa #PPP4SamaAll Awards Night na gaganapin virtually ngayong Sabado.

Inilabas ng Film Development Council of the Philippines (FDCP) sa ilalim ni chairman & CEO Liza Diño- Seguerra— ang mga nominado.

Mahigit 170 plus movies ang isinumite sa festival committee ng PPP at napanood ito online. Mula sa bilang na ‘yan, siyam dito ay bahagi ng PPP Premium Selection section na kwalipikado sa iba’t-ibang kategorya katulad ng Best Picture, Best Director, Best Actor, Best Actress, Best Supporting Actor, Best Supporting actress at iba pa.

Ayon sa PPP committee, ang PPP Premium Selection ay nagtatampok ng mga pelikula na may limited release sa bansa o hindi pa naipalabas sa Pilipinas , kasama ang ilang non-competition title, opening film na Ang Lakaran ni Kabunyan: Kabunyan’s Journey to Liwanag ni National Artist for Film Kidlat Tahimik, at tatlong restored titles: Batch ’81 ni Mike de Leon, Brutal ni Marilou Diaz-Abaya, at Markova: Comfort Gay ni Gil Portes.

Best Supporting Actor: Phi Palmos (“Kintsugi”), Topper Fabregas (“Sila-Sila”), Roweno Caballes (“The Highest Peak”), Allan Gannaban (“Cleaners”) at Henyo Ehem (“The Highest Peak”).

Best Musical Score: Glenn Barit (“Cleaners”), Divino Dayacap (“Metamorphosis”), Peter Legaste (“Kintsugi”), Dale Martin and Tamara Dela Cruz (“Blood Hunters: Rise of the Hybrids”) at Igo Gonzalez (“Sila-Sila”).

Magbibigay din ng special recognitions ang FDCP sa gabi ng #PPP4SamaAll Awards Night sa December 12, Sabado, at 8pm.

Magiging virtual ang awards night ng 4th edition ng PPP dahil pa rin sa pandemya. I-stream naman ito sa Facebook at Youtube channel ng FDCP at mapapanood ng live.
