Sa interview kay Gil, sinabi niya na masaya siya sa kanilang naging set-up for the new normal kahit hindi sila magkasama ni Solenn sa taping.

“Si Soleen, she wasn’t part that time, pero you know she’s enjoying her segment. We were still able to interact with each other. It’s completely new, ut I guess I’m just really happy and excited that I have Taste Buddies again and that I get to tape and I get to host,” ani Gil.

“Taste Buddies is definitely back, we’re gonna be preparing different kinds of episodes for you guys. The way we’re gonna do things will be a little different siyempre with the given situation right now ‘di ba? So we’re gonna make those small changes but we hope that you guys will tune in and love Taste Buddies,” patuloy ni Gil.
