NAKATAKDANG ilunsad ng Philippine Executive Chess Association sa pakikipagtulungan ng National Chess Federation of the Philippines at ng Philippine Arbiters Chess Confederation ang pagdaraos ng second leg ng 2020 National Executive Online Chess Championship sa Oktubre 18, 2020, dakong alas-siyete ng gabi sa lichess. org.
Ang playing format ng tournament ay nine-round Swiss System na may time control format na five minutes plus two seconds increment bawat manlalaro.
Ang magkakampeon ay tatangap ng P10,000 habang ang second P5,000, third P3,000, fourth P2,000 at fifth P1,000. Ang Top Lady, Senior (65 and above), Senior (55 and above), 2000 and below, 1900 and below, 1800 and below at Unrated ay magsusubi ng tig P1,000.
“Open to all qualified members of Philippine Executive Cchess Association whose NCFP Ratings are 2200 and below.Payment/renewal of PECA membership fee for 2020- 2021 is required,” sabi ni PECA president Dr. Fred Paez na NCFP Assistant Executive Director for Southern Luzon din. Ang nasabing event ay suportado nina Engr. Roderick Argel at Engr Richard Sison ng Ontario, Canada na pawang miyembro ng National University High School Chess Team na nagkampeon noong 1985-86 UAAP Chess Championship (High School Division). Ang iba pang miyembro ay sina Dr. Alfredo Paez, Danilo Taopa, Rodolfo Panopio Jr., at Nelson Taopa kung saan ang coach ay ang namayapang si Prof. Victor Javier.
