Nag-post ng isang video si US President Donald Trump nitong Sabado mula sa ospital kung saan siya nananatili habang nakikipaglaban sa COVID-19, at ibinahagi na bumubuti na ang kanyang kalagayan at “would be back soon” – bagamat aminado na krusyal ang mga susunod na araw.

“I came here, wasn’t feeling so well. I feel much better now,” pahayag ni Trump mula sa kanyang business suite sa Walter Reed military medical center malapit sa Washington.

“We’re working hard to get me all the way back... I think I’ll be back soon and I look forward to finishing up the campaign the way it was started.”

Aminado naman si Trump na walang katiyakan ang tagal ng kanyang sakit, na maaaring umatake pa rin kahit sa mga gumagaling na pasyente.

“I’m starting to feel good. You don’t know over the next period of a few days, I guess that’s the real test, so we’ll be seeing what happens over those next couple of days.”

Bago ang video ni Trump isang source na pamilyar sa kalusugan ni Trump—na kalaunan ay kinilalang ng US media na si White House chief of staff Mark Meadows – ang nagbahagi ng nakababahalang pahayag.

“The president’s vitals over the last 24 hours were very concerning and the next 48 hours will be critical in terms of his care,” aniya. “We’re still not on a clear path to a full recovery.”
