TULOY na ang Philippine Basketball Association ‘bubble tournament’ matapos makuha ang provisional approval ng Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) para sa pagbabalik aksiyon ng Season 45 sa Clark, Pampanga.

Sa isang online press conference nitong Huwebes, masayang ibinalita nina PBA Chairman Ricky Vargas at Commissioner Willie Marcial kasama sina Bases Conversion and Development Authority chief Vince Dizon at Clark Development Corporation President Noel Manankil ang pagpapatuloy ng liga na pinatigil ng pandemya.

“We are ready, the players are ready to go, and it’s all now in the hands of the Commissioner to see this executed to perfection,” pahayag ni Vargas.

Kaugnay nito, magsisimula ng magtungo ang mga kalahok sa bubble sa susunod na linggo. Hinati sa dalawang batch ang 12 teams para sa pagtungo nila sa Clark sa Setyembre 28 at 29.

Lahat ng koponan ay sumailalim sa swab testing nitong Miyerkules at Huwebes at muli silang papailalim sa testing sa sandaling pumasok na sila dating base militar ng US.

Sa sandaling lumabas ang resulta at nag negatibo ang mga players, makakapagdaos na ng 5-on-5 scrimmages na inaprubahan na rin ng IATF.

“There will be a very strict protocol for the bubble,” sabi pa ni Dizon na siya ring Presidential Adviser on Flagship Programs. “All the activities of the PBA — the scrimmages, the practices, the games — will be held inside the bubble.”

Sa Angeles University Foundation Sports and Cultural Center gaganapin ang scrimmages at mga laro.
