“It is PVF, not Larong Volleyball sa Pilipinas Inc. (LVPI), that is the FIVB member. We have submitted to the POC Membership Committee the 36th FIVB World Congress Minutes and Appendices that contains the decision of the FIVB General Assembly not to expel PVF from FIVB and affiliate LVPI to FIVB. But for some unknown reason, POC refuses to honor the said document and uphold PVF. Because of this, we have decided to request for an attestation from FIVB,” pahayag ni Cantada.
“We, at Philippine Volleyball Federation (PVF), stand firm in our decision to first ask PVF's attestation from FIVB before submitting any document. The attestation will be submitted to POC and PSC to prove the legitimacy of PVF as a national federation by virtue of its FIVB membership,” aniya.
“We truly want to resolve the problem in Philippine volleyball. But POC must do its part in ensuring a fair and valid solution to the problem. As long as POC refuses to do what we believe is the right thing to do, we will proceed with our own action.
“We truly hope that POC recognizes PVF as the national federation for Philippine volleyball. Over a hundred nations all over the world do. POC should do no less.
Then, inalis kami ni (Peping) Cojuangco without the POC General Assembly votes.
