Naglatag na ng health at safety protocols ang Department of Tourism (DoT) kaugnay ng meetings, incentives, conferences, at exhibitions (MICE) destinations sa sektor ng turismo.
“We will also be issuing very soon guidelines for MICE facilities, meeting facilities, travel and tours, tour guides, even guidelines for island and beach destinations and tourist attractions,” ayon kay Department of Tourism (DOT) Undersecretary Arturo Boncato, Jr.
Muli namang binigyan ng boses ang sentimyento ni DoT Secretary Bernadette Romulo-Puyat na tanging pagtugon lamang sa new normal ang paraan para maka-survive.
Iginiit din ni Boncato na ang hinaharap ng turismo ay dedepende sa “trust and confidence” ng tourism markets.
