BILANG pagtugon sa pangangailangan ng sambayanan na kasalukuyan sumusunod sa ipinatutupad na ‘enhance quarantine program’ ng pamahlaan, patuloy ang paglilingkod ng Union Bank of the Philippines (UnionBank) sa pamamagitan ng kauna-unahang 5G mobile banking kiosk sa bansa na dadayo sa iba’t ibang sulok ng bansa upang matugunan ang pangangailangab bg mga Pinoy sa banking services.
Sinimulan sa pagpasok ng Abril, ang UnionBank’s “Bank on Wheels” ang kauna-unahang 5G-powered airconditioned banking kiosk mobile van sa bansa kung saan komportableng matutugunan ang pangangailangan ng mga mamamayan sa banking services tulad ng balance inquiries, withdrawals, bills payments, funds transfer, at account opening, na hinsi kailangan pang lumayo sa komunidad.
Gamit ang 5G technology, matutugunan ng UnionBank ang lahat ng transaksiyon bunsod nang malakas na internet connection — tinatayang 20 times na mas mabilis sa ibang internet network sa merkado.
Matatagpuan ang ilang mobile vans sa Eastwood, Libertad Mandaluyong branch, Makati Ave. branch, gayundin sa Commonwealth at Nova Gulod branches para maserbisyuhan ang GSIS pensioners.
“Banking services are among the most essential services for many people. However, access to these services has been very limited because of the health crisis that we are currently facing. By deploying a mobile banking kiosk that is powered by 5G technology, not only are we able to make banking more accessible to customers, we are also able to do so in a way that is faster and more efficient,” pahayag ni UnionBank chief technology and operations officer and chief transformation officer Henry Aguda.
