DAHIL sa paglaganap ng kaso ng novel coronavirus (COVID-19) sa bansa, sinuspinde na rin ang division finals ng 2020 Chooks-to-Go Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball League (MPBL).

Ito ang inihayag ni League commissioner Kenneth Duremdes noong nakaraang Huwebes ng gabi.

“Though we would have wanted to hold the deciding Game Threes on Saturday, March 14, we cannot take for granted the danger COVID-19 poses to the spectators, players, team members, and MPBL staff,” ayon sa statement na inilabas ni Duremdes.

“Just l ike other sport s organizations and events, the league’s primary concern is the health and safety of the public.”

Parehong sumagas hanggang Game 3 ang dalawang Division Finals series.
