IPINAGPALIBAN rin ang Chooks-to-Go National Basketball Training Center (NBTC) National Finals bilang pagiwas sa lumalalang kaso ng COVOD-19 sa bansa.

Mula sa orihinal na skedyul na March 21-27, 2020, gagawin ang liga sa April 20-16 sa M Mall of Asia Arena sa Pasay City. Itinataguyod ang liga ng Chooks-to-Go, SMART, Vivo, Darlington, Phoenix Fuels, Epson, Gatorade, Go for Gold, at Molten.

Itinakda naman ang Coaches’ Convention sa April 24-26.

Ayon sa NBTC management, magbabantay sila sa raw-araw na kaganapan upang kaagad na makatugon sa pangangailangan ng at malabanan ang itinuturin nang ‘global pandemic’.

“We are committed to ensuring the health and safety of our attendees as it is our utmost priority,” pahayag ni NBTC founder Eric Altamirano. “Hence, we have taken the difficult decision of postponing this year’s event to a later date.”

Tampok ang kabuuang 32 koponan ang sasabak sa National Finals. Nakatakda ring gawin sa liga ang NBTC All-Star Game, tanpok ang piling mga manlalaro sa high school.
