Kasama sa NJISang Supreme Court, Department of Justice (DOJ), Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG), Department of Information and Communications Technology, at ang Dangerous Drugs Board (DDB).

Ang mga ahensiya sa ilalim ng executive departments ay ang Bureau of Immigration (BI), Bureau of Corrections (BuCor), at ang Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP).

Lalagdaan nina Chief Justice Diosdado M. Peralta, DoJ Secretary Menardo I. Guevarra, DILGSecretary Eduardo M. Ano, DITC Secretary Gregorio B. Honasan II, at DDB Chairman Catalino S. Cuy ang memorandum of agreements sa NJIS.

Sinabi ni DoJ Undersecretary Markk Perete na “the NJISis essentially an information of data portal or network where a lot of different systems relating to prisoners, cases being handled by the judiciary, to research materials on criminal and other prosecutions, among others, will be housed.”

Ayon pa kay Perete, ang NJISay magiging isang online system kung saan i-encode at mai-upload ang data.

Nagbanggit ng halimbawa, sinabi niya na “the BJMP under the DILGwill digitize its data on prisoners, including the length of stay in jails and sentence imposed by the courts, and upload them into a system that would be shared by everyone involved in the NJIS.“

Sinabi niya na ang NJISay kaagad na magiging operational. Isasama sa software component ang amended implementing rules and regulations sa prisoners’ good conduct time allowance (GCTA).
