‘HONORED’ si 2011 Miss Universe 3rd runner-up Shamcey Supsup-Lee na maitalaga bilang national director ng Miss Universe Philippines.

“I am honored with my new role for the organization that brought meaning to my life as a beauty queen and as a woman. I am more than blessed to be the National Director of Miss Universe Philippines,” pagbabahagi ni Shamcey sa isang post sa Instagram.

“As I continue to grow, I understand that being an architect and an entrepreneur are facets that will form part of my core as we continue the projects of Miss Universe and create more opportunities for aspiring beauty queens in the future;

“Thank you for the trust and confidence in my capabilities as a strong and independent woman,” dagdag pa ng beauty queen.

Nasa kamay ngayon ng Miss Universe Philippines organization ang tungkulin upang pumili ng opisyal na kandidata ng bansa para sa Miss Universe pageant mula 2020.

Sa nakalipas na 56 na taon, ang Bb. Pilipinas Charities Inc. ang nagpapadala ng delegado ng bansa sa prestigious international beauty competition.

Nagtapos si Shamcey ng magna cum laude sa kursong architecture sa University of the Philippines.

Noong Hunyo 2010, siya ang nanguna sa national board exams para sa mga architects na may board rating of 86.60 percent.

Nagwagi si Shamcey ng Binibining Pilipinas-Universe title at naging kinatawan ng bansa para sa 2011 Miss Universe beauty contest sa Sao Paulo, Brazil.

Noong Disyembre 29, 2013, ikinasal ang beauty queen sa long-time BF na si Lee.
