Inilunsad ng Pru Life UK ang bagong edisyon para sa pinakamalaking cycling festival sa bansa na magsisimula sa Marso 11-15 sa Clark, Pampanga.

Tinatayang sasabak ang mahigit 2,500 cyclists, kabilang ang 18 local and international professional teams, sa nakatayang 10 categories. Makakasama ang mga kalahok sa Virtual PRURide, at PRURide Criterium, tampok ang fixed gear, road bike, at mountain bike races.

Samantala, ang mga non-competitive rides na Gran Fondo ay pasok sa pamilyang Pinoy, beginners at hobbyists, habang ang Striders Cup ay para sa mga batang may edad dalawa hanggang anim na taon.

Lalaruin din ang Fun Cycle, bagong cycling activity para sa mga Pru Life UK agents at employees.

Tampok din ang PRURide UCI 2.2 Stage Races, ang tatlong araw na karera na sacrtioned bilang official na laro ng Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI), ang world’s governing body para sa cycling.

“We are excited to launch PRURide PH 2020 after the success of our first three editions. Since becoming UCI 2.2-accredited in 2019, PRURide PH is expected to grow bigger and become more exciting,” pahayag ni Senior Vice President and Chief Customer Marketing Officer Allan Tumbaga.

“It is now a five-day marquee featuring recurring cycling activities made more thrilling with the addition of new routes in Clark and Tarlac. With these, we aim to offer the best PRURide PH yet to our recreational and professional cyclists from the Philippines and Asia.”

Inilunsad noong 2016, target ng PRURide PH na tulungan ang cycling community na mapataas ang kalidad ng sports at kaalaman hingil sa buting naidudulot nito sa kalasugan batay na rin sa programang Pru Life UK’s We DO Health commitment.

“Through PRURide PH, we want to show that having an active lifestyle can be a fun activity enjoyed by friends and families. At the same time, we hope to inspire others to get on a bike and start their own fitness journeys,” pahayag ni Tumbaga.
