KABUUANG 2,000 atleta ang inaasahang mag-aagawan para sa karangalan sa pagsipa ng 2019 SMART/MVPSports Foundation National Inter-School Taekwondo Championships sa Nobyembre 9-10 sa Ayala Malls, Manila Bay.
Itatampok sa event ang Novice at Advance male at female performer sa Seniors, Juniors, Cadet at Gradeschool categories.
Kasama rin sa two-day tournament ang Poomsae o ‘forms’ na bukas sa lahat ng colored at blackbelt students para sa individual, pair at team events.
Kabilang sa mga paaralang kasapi ng Philippine Taekwondo Association ay ang Ateneo de Manila University, University of Sto. Tomas, St. Paul Pasig, Diliman Preparatory School, Mary Hill School, Emilio Aguinaldo College, Montessori Integrated School, De La Salle University, University of the East, National University, Philippine Science High School, School of Holy Spirit, University of the Philippines Diliman, National University, Arellano University at iba pang Visayas at Mindanao institutions.
Ang event ay suportado ng PLDT, Meralco, Philippine Sports Commission, Philippine Olympic Committee at Milo at magsisimula sa alas-9 ng umaga.
