Hangad ng Beermen, na kagagaling lang sa PBA tour sa Dubai, ang fourth straight panalo upang makasabay sa solo leader TNT KaTropa.
May tatlong straight panalo naman ang Magnolia matapos matalo sa opening game sa Meralco noong Set. 21.
Galing naman ang SMB sa 98-94 victory laban NLEX sa Dubai.
Nakatutok ang San Miguel sa laban nito sa Magnolia.
Para kay Hotshots import Romeo Travis, “It’s still a lot of season left and a lot of things can happen. You just go out here and play the game and see what happens and take it for what it’s worth.”
“If we win, great. If we don’t, we gonna learn,” dagdag ni Travis, na nag-aaverage ng 20.5 points, 12.5 rebounds, 4.8 assists, 2.5 steals and 2.0 blocks.
Ayon naman kay Dez Wells ng Beermen, ipagpapatuloy lang niya ang magandang showing ngayong conference. Ang 27anyos na Wells ay may average na 33.0 points, 9.7 rebounds, 4.0 assists and 1.7 steals.
