Sinimulan ng Tytana ang kampanya sa men’s basketball sa makapigil-hiningang 54-52 panalo kontra Airlink International Aviation College, bago tinanghal na Miss ISAA 2019 sa ika-apat na sunod na taon ang pambato ng Pasay-based school.

Nakamit ni Ms. Tytana’s Suzette Anne Sablad ang Miss ISAA 2019 para dugtungan ang dominasyon ng eskwelahan sa pinakahihintay na patimpalak na nagtatampok sa ganda, talino at katatagan ng isang kolehiyala.

Sinundan ni Sablad ang panalo ng Tytana na sina Alex Que (2016), Jeremie Villacencio (2017) at Shaina Molina (2018).

“Tytana has started with a bang in the dynamic league, and it has a solid goal to see it through the end. Now we hope to live up to our battle cry this year: ‘Finish Strong,” pahayag ni ISAA president at Tytana AVP and director for student affairs Ruel dela Rosa.

Iginiit ni Dela Rosa na layunin na maisulong ang sports at kaunlran sa collegiate level sa  11 miyembro eskwelahan kabilang ang Airlink International Aviation College, FEATI University, ICCT Colleges, Immaculada Concepcion College, La Consolacion College, Manila Adventist College, PATTS College of Aeronautics, Philippine Women’s University, Treston International College, at Trinity University of Asia.

Sa iba pang opening-day results, nagwagi ang La Consolacion sa ICCT, 97-77; ginapi ng Trinity ang ICC, 80-68; namayani ang PATTS sa Treston, 74-72; at nilugmok ng PWU ang FEATI, 65-20.
