KUMPIYANSA ang Unified Tennis Philippines (UTP) national junior tennis players sa kanilang pagsabak sa Asian Tennis Federation (ATF) 14-and-under series sa Malaysia.

Binubuo ang koponan, na itinataguyod ng Cebuana Lhuillier, nina Exequiel Jucutan, Joewyn Pascua, Alexa Milliam, at Marielle Jarata. Target nilang malagpasan hindi man mapantayan ang naging kampanya sa liga sa nakalipas na taon.

“Our goal as a team is to consistently play our best, not just aim to be champions but to show that we can make our mark in international competitions,” pahayag ni Marielle, sa edad na 15 ang pinakabatanbg player sa Ph Team.

“We’ve seen how these kids are on the Philippine courts and I’m confident that they are at par with their opponents who will come from different nations. I wish them good luck and expect them to make our country proud,” sambit ni UTP president Jean Henri Lhuillier.

Napili ang UTP national team members matapos ang isinagawang national ranking system. Ang UTP ay all-inclusive, non-stock, non-profit sports organization na itinatag sa layuning palakasin ang programa ng tennis sa bansa.
