SUSULONG ang Gumaca Open Chess Tournament bukas sa Gumaca East Central School sa Gumaca, Quezon Province.
Ito ay suportado ng Veluz Family, Gumaca Chess Club at ng Team Gumaca.
“We do this to promote chess in the grass-roots level and discover future chess talents,” sabi ni tournament organizer Janglie Lita.
Ang magkakampeon ay magbubulsa ng P7,000 plus trophy, habang tatangapin naman ng second hanggang fifth placers ang tig P5,000 plus medal, P3,000 plus medal, P2,000 plus medal at P1,000 plus medal, ayon sa pagkakasunod.
May maiuuwi naman ang 6th hanggang to 10th placers na tig P500.
