NAKATAKDANG sumagupa ang Team Philippines sa 1st Thailand Chess Festival na gaganapin sa Le Bali Resort and Spa, Pattaya, Thailand sa Hulyo 7-18.

Pangungunahan ni Bonjoure Fille Suyamin, grade 4 pupil ng Del Rosario Christian Institute sa General Trias City, Cavite na sariwa sa pagsubi ng three (3) silver medal (Standard, Rapid at Blitz) sa girls under 10 division sa 9-day 20th ASEAN Age Group Chess Championships 2019 na ginanap sa Mandalay City, Myanmar ang koponan.
“ I hope to do well in the upcoming 1st Thailand Chess Festival in Pattaya, Thailand,” sabi ni nine-years-old Bonjoure Fille na consistent Honor Student at achievers simula ng kinder 1 hanggang sa kasalukuyan.
Nagbigay naman ng ayuda si Arnel Beltran Del Rosario, chairman/ president ng Del Rosario Christian Institute Foundation Inc., isa sa supporter ni Bonjoure Fille.
Ang iba pang miyembro ng young PH chess squad ay sina Yanie Ayesha Estavillo (U8), Noreen Sciecky Atienza (U8), Jirah Floravie Cutiyog (U10), John Martin Firmalino (U12), Geraldine Mae Camarines (U12), Relghie Columna (U12), Janmyl Dilan Tisado (U14), Josh Edmar Castro (U14), Paolo Estavillo (U16), Jireh Dan Jaime Cutiyog (U16) at Stephen Von Estavillo (U18).
“We expect these young and talented chess players from General Trias City, Cavite to perform well as usual and bring honor to the country,” sabi ni supporter of the youth at Chess God Father Luis “Jon Jon” Ferrer IV.
Mapapalaban ang Filipinos sa squads mula Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Myanmar, Cambodia, Vietnam, Laos at Brunei, ayon kay PH chess coach Ederwin Estavillo na siya ding presidente ng General Trias City Chess Club.
Ang Head of Delegation ay si Baby Lyn Kempiz ng City Mayor’s Office ng General Trias City, Cavite.
Ang kampanya ng young PH chess squad sa Pattaya, Thailand ay suportado ng local government ng General Trias City, Cavite sa gabay nina Mayor Antonio “Ony” Ferrer at Congressman Luis “Jon-jon” Ferrer.
