SANTIAGO CITY – Patuloy ang pakikibahagi ng Caltex, sa pamamagitan ng Caltex Fuel Your School, sa mga programa na naglalayong mabigyan ng ayuda ang mga eskwelahan at mag-aaral mula sa public school.
Simula Hunyo 1 hanggang sa katapos ng buwang kasalukuyan, ang bawat motorista na magpapakarga ng gasoline sa Caltex stations na nasa pangangasiwa ng Northern Star network sa Cagayan Valley at CAR ay awtomatikong magiging ‘sponsors’ para tulungan ang 30 nangangailangang eskelahan na makabili ng makabagong kagamitan.
Sa ilalim ng programa, tatapatan Caltex at branded marketer Northern Star Energy Corporation, angh kada pisong awtomatikong domasyon sa kada litro ng gasolinang maipapagrga ng motorista para makalap ang P3 milyon na pondo.
Ang kabuuang halaga ay hahatiin sa 30 public high schools na makakapasa sa criteria na itinalaga ng Department of Education. Kabuuang 40,662 public high school students at 1,638 teachers sa Cagayan, Isabela, Nueva Vizcaya, Quirino, Kalinga at Ifugao ang inaasahang matutulungan sa programa ng Caltex Fuel Your School 2019.
Walang minimum fuel purchase na kinakailangan at kasama ang tatlong Caltex products na Techron Silver, Platinum, at Techron-D (Diesel) sa naturang fuel-to-donate scheme. Puwede pa ring gamitin ng mga motorista ang kanilang HappyPlus, Robinsons Rewards Card, at MVP Card sa bawat pagpa[akarga.
Ito ang ikalawang sunod na taon na nagtulungan ang Northern Star at Caltex, marketed by Chevron Philippines Inc. (CPI), para sa programang pang-edukasyon. Noong 2018, isinulong din ng Northern Star ang programa sa 26 Caltex station sa North Western Luzon para makalikom ng P3 milyon para sa public high schools. Ngayong taon, ginamit ng Northern Star ang 22 Caltex stations sa Cagayan Valley para malikom ang target na P3 millyon. May hiwalay na donasyon ang Northern Star na P2 million na direktang ibinigay sa Fuel Your School. “Caltex Fuel Your school is designed to support and improve education by providing teachers with needed teaching supplies and equipment. We are one with CPI in encouraging teachers to conduct classroom projects for STEM subjects – science, technology, engineering and math – to help prepare students who may be interested in these types of advanced technical jobs,” pahayag ni Northern Star COO Juan Miguel Delgado.
Nagsimula ang Caltex Fuel Your School noong 2015. Sa loob ng apat na taon, naayudahan ng programa ang kabuuang 118 public high schools, 4,781 public high school teachers, at 1.477 million public high school students sa Metro Manila, Davao, Bicol at Ilocos region.
