“There were no expectations kaya walang pressure. I just tried to enjoy the game,” sambit ni Lazo, umabante kay Hernandez sa qualifying rounds at nagwagi kay Grace Gella sa step-ladder finals, 212-171.

Nakopo naman ni Filipino-Australian Jordan Dinham ang youth boys title laban kay Asian youth champion Merwin Tan, 189-155, sa torneo na itinataguyod ng Pagcor, Cafe Puro, Boysen Paints, Prima Pasta at Linden Suites.

Nagwagi si Dinham, nakilala matapos magwagi kay 2018 World Cup champion Sam Cooley sa Australia, sina Kishan Ramachandrai ng India, 248-185, sa step-ladder.

“Bowling is also a mental game. You have to maintain your focus throughout,” pahayag ni Lazo, incoming Grade 12 sa La Salle-Dasmarinas.

“I still have a lot of things to improve on. My family and coach serve as my inspirations,” aniya.
