Nagtala ang national paddlers na naghahanda para sa darating na 30th Southeast Asian Games ng tiyempong 1:00.76 upang dominahin ang 10-seater premier women’s division 200m at 20-seater premier mixed category

Sa kabila ng pagkakaroon ng limang babae sa premier big boat open category, nagwagi pa ang Filipino ng silver medal sa matinding labanan kung saan tampok ang mga all-male teams.

“We did well in this tournament and we are eager to translate our performance here into victories during the SEA Games,” pahayag ni coach Len Escollante. “What was really surprising was we got these medals against teams where the paddlers are all male.”
