Ipinahayag ng 11 kandidata ang kanilang mga sagot sa opening ng National Costume Photo Exhibit sa Gateway Mall, Araneta Center sa Quezon City nitong Martes ng gabi.

Pinangunahan ni Stella Marquez Araneta, chair ng Bb. Pilipinas Charities, Inc., ang ribbon-cutting ceremony. Ang mga larawan naman ay kinunan ni Raymond Saldana.

Tampok sa exhibit ang mga likhang sining na nagpakita ng mayamang kasaysayan at kultura ng Pilipinas, na gawa ng mga talentadong Filipino designers.

Sa photo exhibit, naka-display naman ang ginamit na gown ng Bb. Pilipinas 2018 queens—Catriona Gray, Jehza Huelar, Michele Gumabao, at Eva Patalinjug.

Narito ang sagot ng ilang kandidata sa tanong na: “What is your prayer for our country?”

Dia Nicole Magno: “I wish for peace and love in the universe. I also wish for poverty to end.”

Samantha Bernardo: “I hope that everyone will have respect for one another. I also pray that we support our government in various causes.”

Julia Saubier: “My prayer for the Philippines is that we continue to progress. I have high hopes for the Philippines. I believe we are globally competitive.”

Leren Mae Bautista: “Hope for everybody. What I learned in life is that hope is the best way to fight anything in this world.”

Vickie Marie Rushton: “My prayer for the Philippines is to finally find its healing because the people need it.”

Ilene Astrid De Vera: “I pray for total peace. Some say we cannot achieve it but we need to start with ourselves.”

Sherry Anne Tormes: “I pray that Filipinos will have strong faith. Let’s open our minds and be understanding. If we are open-minded and understanding, then our country will continue to progress.”

Emma Mary Tiglao: “Good health and peace for all of us. I also pray that people will be nicer so that we can serve those who are in need.”

Bea Patricia Magtanong: “With the senatorial elections coming, I pray that we will be wise voters. I also hope that they will focus on platforms and not reputation.”

Maria Andrea Abesamis: “My prayer is that the Philippines will have great leaders and I hope that they will be true to their promises for our country. I pray that everyone will be blessed.”

Gazini Ganados: “I just wish peace and love for everyone. All the best for Filipinos.”
