Ang dating ONE Featherweight World Champion na si Honorio “The Rock” Banario ay nangakong magbabalik ng mas malakas matapos ang pagkatalo niya sa kamay ni Lowen Tynanes sa quarter-finals ng ONE Lightweight World Grand Prix.

Nakapuntos si Tyanes ng TKO stoppage victory a 4:46 mark ng unang round sa co-main event ng ONE: HERO’S ASCENT na ginanap sa Mall Of Asia Arena, Manila noong Biyernes, Enero 25.

"To share the stage with a world-class athlete like Tynanes is a great learning experience. I see this as something that would benefit my career in the future," sabi ni Banario.

"This is definitely a great learning experience for me. I gave everything I have, but it didn't quite work out. I knew I was a big underdog, but I stepped up and went all-out against him.”

"It's a huge help to have been able to compete against someone of Lowen Tynanes’ caliber. He is undefeated for a reason,” sabi niya. "He was the better man that night, but that's part of being an athlete. I will learn and improve.”

Hindi pa ito ang wakas para sa dating Featherweight World Champion dahil mananatili siyang palaban sa light weight division kahit nakatikim ng pagkatalo.

"I know I still have a great career ahead of me. The loss will only make me a better competitor moving forward."
