GINANAP kamakailan sa Eastwood City Central Plaza ang pagbibigay-pugay sa latest Walk of Fame stars. Kabilang sa mga pinarangalan sina Julia Barretto, 2015 Miss Universe Pia Wurtzbach, Derek Ramsay, at Direk Chito Roño.
The Walk of Fame project was the brainchild of the late German “Kuya Germs” Moreno, who succumbed to cardiac arrest in January 2016.
James Reid, who was previously announced as one of this year’s inductees, was not included anymore in the list.

It is also noticeable that Julia’s love-team partner, Joshua Garcia, is not part of the Walk of Fame star recipients. Same goes with James’ reel-and-real life partner, Nadine Lustre.

“Well, in fact, for this year’s inductees, we invited their love teams. Unfortunately, they can’t make it.
“The board is very very strict, e. Presence is really required. So if you notice, Mr. James Reid is not included anymore because he had to extend his stay in Australia to attend to the needs of his father, which we fully understand.
“[For Joshua], he wasn’t able to provide a schedule also. But what we do naman, once you are nominated, we try to nominate naman din again next year.”
Federico also pointed out that a small number of celebrities were inducted this year, to make it “more intimate”.
