``I believe that our wrestlers will do well and continue to prove that we are one of the best in Asia,’’pahayag ni Go For Gold godfather Jeremy Go.

Bukod sa wrestling, katuwang ang Go For Gold sa sports development program ng national at junior athletes mula sa cycling, triathlon, sepak takraw, skateboarding at dragonboat.

“We need to expose our wrestlers to this kind of tournament if we want to achieve something in the SEA Games,’’ said Go For Gold project director Ednalyn Hualda.

Gagabay sa Nationals sina coach at dating national wrestlers Michael Baletin at Efrelyn Crosby.

“This is part of our year-long preparation for the SEA Games. The more tournaments that we participate in, the better for our wrestlers,” pahayag ni Crosby.

Sa kasalukuyan, napagkasunduan ng SEAG Federation ang pagapruba sa 15 event sa wrestling, kasama ang karagdagang limang event sa hosting ng Manila sa SEA Games.
