“No doubt my victory in front of my countrymen was the result of my hard work and will to win,” sabi niya.

“I trained almost every day to sharpen my tools inside the cage. We were able to do all the adjustments that we planned heading into that bout and executed them perfectly.”

While at the Malaysian gym, he further developed his grappling and strengthened his already fierce stand-up game.

“The things I learned at Borneo Tribal [Squad] were definitely essential in my victory over Peng," bahagi niya.

"My takedown defense was enhanced, which was very evident on that evening. The different drills helped me add power to my strikes."

“Seeing positive results inspires you to push yourself more to the limit," paliwanag niya.

"My win in Manila is just the beginning. Expect more explosive performances from me this coming 2019. The best is yet to come.”
