ANG mga woodpushers ng Muntinlupa City ay may pagkakataon na maipamalas ang kanilang husay sa pagsulong ng Muntinlupa Inter-Barangay Chess Team Tournament, sa pangangasiwa nina Bureau of Immigration (BI) Deputy Commissioner Marc Red Mariñas at long-time chess supporter lawyer Vic Ulanday sa Dioko Pavillion Barangay Cupang sa Muntinlupa City.
"Expects to gather the best and brightest woodpushers in this city,” pahayag ni Mariñas . "We do this to promote chess in the grass-roots level.
Ayon kay Ulanday ang mga koponan na lalahok ay Barangay ngTunasan, Poblacion, Putatan, Bayanan, Alabang, Cupang, Buli, Sucat at Ayala Alabang.
"The tournament is open to all bonafide resident of Muntinlupa City with his/her proof of residency. Companies, School and Agencies within the vicinity of Muntinlupa may join the tournament by sending their teams in the competition,” sambit ni Ulanday.
