Sinimulan nitong Martes ng House Committee on Ways and Means, sa pamumuno ni Nueva Ecija Rep. Estrellita Suansing, ang pagdinig sa House Bills 8252 at 8323, tungkol sa ikaapat na package ng Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion (TRAIN) Law.
Dumalo si House Speaker Gloria Macapagal- Arroyo sa paunang deliberasyon ng dalawang panukala, na magsasaayos sa financial sector taxation upang ito ay maging “simpler, fairer, more efficient, and revenue neutral tax system.”
Inilahad ni Arroyo ang plano ng Kamara sa Package 4 ng TRAIN: “To legislate. That’s our plan, to legislate. Our agenda is to carry out the agenda of President Duterte so he has his 15 measures that he enumerated in the SONA. We already passed 11 of them,” ani Arroyo.
