Halos isang buwan ang nakalipas makaraang italagang bagong pinuno ng Bureau of Corrections (BuCor), hanggang ngayon ay hindi pa rin nagre-report sa kanyang trabaho si dating Customs Commissioner at ngayon ay Office of Civil Defense (OCD) Deputy Administrator Nicanor Faeldon.
“He has not shown up or said anything. I have no idea why,” sabi ni Department of Justice (DoJ) Secretary Menardo Guevarra.
Ang BuCor ay ahensiyang nakapailalim sa DoJ.
“I have mentioned this fact to the Executive Secretary (Salvador Medialdea). I told the ES about it during the Cabinet meeting last Tuesday. He said that he would mention it to the president,” ani Guevarra.

Sa kasalukuyan, itinalaga ni Guevarra si BuCor Deputy Director General Melvin Ramon Buenafe bilang officer-in-charge ng kawanihan.
Papalitan ni Faeldon si dating BuCor Chief Ronald “Bato” Dela Rosa, na kakandidatong senador.
