Isinulong na state-of-the-art sports facility ni Pacquiao, aprubado sa Senado

TINIYAK ni Senator Manny Pacquiao na makakamit ng atletang Pinoy ang de kalidad na pagsasanay para sa minimithing gintong medalya hindi man sa 2020 Tokyo Olympics baskus sa hinaharap.

Ito’y matapos aprubahan ng Senado ang Senate Bill No. 1716 (Philippine Amateur Sports Training Act) na akda ng eight-division world champion, sa pakikipagtulungan nina Senators Sonny Angara, Bam Aquino at Joel Villanueva.

Walang tumutol para maipasa ang naturang resolusyon na naglalayong mabigyan ang atletang Pinoy ng world-class training sa isang state-of-the-art training center.

“We believe that it is high time that our athletes be given the state-of-the-art facilities needed for the nourishment of their talents. Now is the best opportunity for us to give the best support to our athletes,” pahayag ni Pacquiao.

Aniya, ang pagkakaroon ng sapat, wasto at de kalidad na pagsasanay ay magbibigay sa atletang Pinoy ng pag-asa na makamit ang minimithing dominasyon sa regional games, maging sa Asian at Olympics.

“Our world-class athletes have been giving their best to shine in the global platform. However, our committed athletes have yet to show their fullest potentials. The Philippine government has so much to give in exchange of their relentless efforts. For one, we can provide a training center where they can develop their skills and their abilities,” sambit ni Pacquaio.

Iginiit ni Pacquiao na maging siya ay nagpupursige sa pagsasanay sa kabila nang kakulangan ng pasilidad sa bansa, Aniya, masyadong luma na ang Rizal Memorial Sports Complex at PhilSports Arena para pagsanayan ng Pambansang Atleta.
